⚠️ FileLinked is Dead — Here Are the Best Alternatives in 2026
If you’ve tried to use a FileLinked code recently and received a “FileLinked code not found” error — or found that the FileLinked app simply won’t load — you’re not alone and it’s not a problem on your end.
FileLinked was permanently seized and shut down by the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), the same coalition of major studios and streaming platforms that has taken down dozens of piracy-adjacent services. The official FileLinked website now returns a 404 error. Every single FileLinked code — including all the ones previously listed in this article — is permanently non-functional.
The good news: three direct successor platforms have taken FileLinked’s place, and they work on the same code-based model you’re already familiar with:
| Platform | Best For | Where to Get It |
|---|---|---|
| FileSynced | Closest 1:1 FileLinked replacement | filesynced.com |
| Unlinked | Largest app libraries, AES-256 encrypted | App stores / Downloader |
| AppLinked | Simple interface, large sports selection | applinked.app |
We cover codes for all three below. For a deeper dive into each platform, see our dedicated guide to the Best FileLinked Alternative for 2026.
⚠️ Stream with Caution!
Free sports streaming has always been a legally grey area. The reality is that most live sports rights are exclusively licensed, meaning that third-party free streaming apps are often distributing content without proper authorization.
Broadcasters and sports rights holders are actively working with ISPs and governments to block, throttle, and prosecute illegal streams. Users in several countries have received cease-and-desist letters, had their connections throttled mid-match, or found streams geo-blocked without warning.
The single most important thing you can do before streaming is connect to a trusted VPN. A VPN encrypts your traffic, prevents ISP throttling, and protects your identity from monitoring by rights holders.
What VPN Should You Use?
The best VPN for sports streaming right now is IPVanish. I’ve personally used it for years across Fire TV Sticks, Android boxes, and mobile — it’s the most consistent performer for live sports, where buffering and connection drops are simply not acceptable.
Here’s why it stands out:
- ⚡ Superb Speeds: Guarantees smooth, buffer-free live streaming even in HD and 4K.
- 🌍 Massive Server Network: Thousands of servers globally — connect to the fastest one near you in seconds.
- 🔑 Unblock Geo-Restricted Content: Access sports apps and streams that are blocked in your region.
- 😎 Strict No-Logs Policy: Your streaming activity is never recorded or stored.
- 🔐 Military-Grade Security: AES-256 encryption, WireGuard protocol, kill switch, and DNS/IPv6 leak protection built in.

Best FileSynced Codes for Live Sports — Working April 2026
FileSynced is the most direct replacement for FileLinked. It uses the same familiar code-entry system, hosts APKs in curated libraries, and is actively maintained. Install the FileSynced app via Downloader using the URL at filesynced.com, then enter any of the codes below.
👉 FileSynced Code: 10000017 — Sports & Streaming Bundle ✅ Working April 2026
This is our top pick for sports fans on FileSynced. The Sports & Streaming Bundle library is stacked with both live sports apps and on-demand streaming options, making it one of the most versatile codes available right now. No PIN code required — just enter the code and start browsing.
Key sports apps included in this library:
- TFlix — Currently one of the best live sports apps available, pulling streams from TheTVApp and CricHD sources. TroyPoint rates it as the #1 app for live sports globally in 2026.
- Live Net TV — A long-running, reliable app for international sports channels.
- Swift Streamz — Solid for international soccer, cricket, and basketball coverage.
- BeeTV — Great for sports documentaries and on-demand sports content.
👉 FileSynced Code: 88888888 — DreamLocator ✅ Working April 2026
The DreamLocator store on FileSynced is one of the most talked-about codes in 2026 community forums, and for good reason. It bundles access to some of the biggest legal and semi-legal sports platforms in a single download list.
Standout apps in the DreamLocator library:
- Pluto TV — Free, legal, ad-supported sports and entertainment channels.
- ESPN — ESPN’s official app for authenticated streaming (requires provider login, but works brilliantly with a VPN).
- DAZN — Premium sports streaming for boxing, MMA, soccer, and more.
- fuboTV — Sports-first live TV streaming with extensive sports channel coverage.
This code is ideal if you want a mix of free and premium sports apps in one place.
👉 FileSynced Code: 56001333 — John Wayne V2 ✅ Working April 2026
The John Wayne V2 library takes a more traditional third-party approach, packing in several well-known sideload-friendly sports streaming apps:
- Live Net TV — International sports channels across dozens of categories.
- Swift Streamz — Reliable free streams for cricket, soccer, NFL, and NBA.
- BeeTV — Useful for sports content beyond live games.
No PIN required. A solid all-rounder, especially for users who want a lightweight library without too many apps to sort through.
Best Unlinked Codes for Live Sports — Working April 2026
Unlinked has become the most popular FileLinked alternative in terms of raw library size. Its codes unlock curated stores with hundreds of apps, and crucially, Unlinked uses AES-256 encryption to protect its libraries — making it one of the more privacy-conscious options available.
👉 Unlinked Code: EB2E4A4C — Stream It All ✅ Working April 2026
The Stream It All library on Unlinked is massive — over 250 apps across 14 categories, including a dedicated sports section. This is the code to use if you want maximum choice.
Top sports apps available inside the Stream It All library:
- Lepto Sports — A standout sports app appearing in multiple Unlinked roundups. Covers global sports events with clean, reliable streams.
- Ocean Streamz — Increasingly popular in 2026 for its international sports channel selection and low ad load.
- SportzX — Actively working in April 2026 per FirestickHacks, with strong coverage of the Premier League and Champions League specifically.
- Sportzfy TV — Covers global sports channels with a strong focus on football, cricket, and regional events.
With 250+ apps, you’ll also find plenty of on-demand movie and TV apps alongside the sports selection — genuinely one of the best single codes available in 2026.
Best AppLinked Code for Live Sports — Working April 2026
👉 AppLinked Code: 5555 — FreeTech ✅ Working April 2026
AppLinked is the third major player in the post-FileLinked ecosystem, and its FreeTech store (code 5555) is consistently highlighted by the streaming community as one of the best general-purpose libraries available.
Sports-relevant apps in the FreeTech store include:
- Live Net TV — Dependable international sports coverage.
- IPTV Smarters — A powerful IPTV player that works with any sports IPTV subscription.
- Cinema HD — Excellent for sports movies, documentaries, and replays.
- BeeTV — Great companion app for sports content outside of live games.
No PIN required. AppLinked’s interface is clean and straightforward, making this a good entry point for users who are new to sideloaded app stores.
Top Working Sports Apps in April 2026
Beyond the code-based stores, several standalone sports apps are worth knowing about directly. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s actually working right now:
🏆 TFlix — Best Overall for Live Sports Globally ✅ Working April 2026
TFlix is the standout recommendation from the streaming community in 2026. It aggregates streams from TheTVApp and CricHD, giving it one of the widest sports coverage footprints of any free app. If you only install one sports app, make it this one.
⚽ SportzX — Best for Soccer & European Football ✅ Working April 2026
SportzX has earned strong reviews specifically for Premier League and Champions League coverage. If European soccer is your priority, SportzX delivers consistent quality streams for those competitions in particular.
📺 RBTV33 / RBTV77 — Best for Combat Sports & PPV ✅ Working April 2026
One of the more under-the-radar picks in this list, RBTV33 and RBTV77 cover an impressive range: soccer, cricket, basketball, tennis — and notably, PPV events that most free apps skip entirely. A strong differentiating pick for boxing and MMA fans.
🏏 MaxLiv TV — Best for Cricket & Football ✅ Working April 2026
MaxLiv TV has surged in popularity in April 2026, particularly among cricket fans who were affected by ongoing issues with CricFy TV. It covers football, cricket, boxing, and tennis — and it’s completely ad-free, which puts it a step above many competitors in terms of user experience.
🌍 Sportzfy TV — Best for Global Sports Channels ✅ Working April 2026
Sportzfy TV covers a broad international range of sports channels, with particular strength in global football leagues, cricket boards, and regional sports that other apps miss. If you follow sports outside the major US/UK markets, Sportzfy TV is worth having installed.
Installing Sports Apps Directly with Downloader Codes
One method that’s grown significantly in 2026 is using Downloader numeric codes to install apps without going through FileSynced, Unlinked, or AppLinked at all. Downloader (the app by AFTVnews) allows you to enter a short numeric code that resolves to a direct APK download URL — no code store needed.
How to install apps using Downloader codes:
- Install Downloader from the Amazon App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open Downloader and tap the search/URL bar.
- Enter the numeric Downloader code for the app you want (check TroyPoint’s Downloader code database for the latest codes for TFlix, SportzX, and others).
- Downloader will fetch the APK directly and prompt you to install.
- Once installed, delete the APK file to free up storage.
This method is faster and more direct than going through a code store, and it bypasses any issues with store availability or connectivity. It’s our recommended approach for installing TFlix and SportzX specifically.
Tip: For the best experience with any of these apps, always connect your VPN before launching them. Live sports streams are among the most actively monitored content by rights holders and ISPs.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happened to FileLinked?
FileLinked was permanently seized and shut down by the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE). The service is completely non-functional — all codes return errors, and the app cannot connect to any server. The best replacements in 2026 are FileSynced, Unlinked, and AppLinked, all of which use the same code-based model.
Are FileSynced and Unlinked codes safe to use?
Like any third-party app store, these platforms host APKs that are not verified by Google Play or the Amazon App Store. The apps themselves vary in legitimacy. Always use a VPN when downloading and streaming, and only install apps from codes with a good community reputation. The codes listed in this article have been vetted by major streaming communities as of April 2026.
Do I need a VPN to use these sports apps?
Technically you can use them without a VPN, but it’s strongly not recommended. ISPs in many countries actively monitor and throttle sports streams, and rights holders use IP tracking to identify users accessing unlicensed content. A VPN protects your identity and prevents throttling — making your streams faster and your activity private.
What is the best free sports streaming app in 2026?
Based on current community consensus, TFlix is the top pick for live sports globally in April 2026, followed by SportzX for European soccer, and MaxLiv TV for cricket and football. All three are available via the FileSynced and Unlinked codes listed above.
